Boasting a retail space of 1260sqft,the store interior has been specifically designed to celebrate the glorious days of the British film industry in the early 1950s. Ted is unveiling the store in a grand and luxurious manner with a dash of quirkiness - all in Ted’s true style.
Eminent for his distinctive andindividual designin each store all over the world, once again this new store is no exception. On this occasion Ted is paying tribute to the history of the mall location whereit was once the site for the first cinema in Kuwait.
Hanging film reels accentuate the whole storeand are finished off by a light box panel with artwork of film strips. Opulent details including a cream marble floor and extravagant bronze mirror panelshave been created to signify theGolden Age when British filmsflourished.
It was an era of creative explosion and Ted embodies that spirit through featuresinstalled in the store. Chevron carpet marks the decadent era, whilst theatre-like seating in the fitting rooms has nostalgic elements of the glamorous golden days. Vintage wall lights highlight the black and white pictures of British actors and actresses; a testament to the inspiring iconic individuals who helped shape thesuccess of the film industry.
Finally…nothing is ever complete without paying attention to the smallest details. A cash desk filled with vintage cameras and theatre spot lights decorate the store perfectly and provide a unique backdrop to showcase Ted’s SS13 collections. The smartest collection of menswear, womenswear and accessories crafted to pass with flying colours.
